The 2022 Research Experience for Undergraduates Program at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab will begin accepting applications soon. The REU Program is funded by the National Science Foundation and aims to provide participants with the opportunity to carry out an independent research project while working under the direction of a DISL faculty mentor. 

Any rising sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduates with interests in ecology, biology, chemistry, geology, biomedicine, or physical and environmental sciences can apply to this REU Program. 

For those interested in applying, four informational meetings are scheduled to provide more information on the program.
