On April 10, the Alabama Marine Mammal Stranding Network (ALMMSN) gratefully accepted a generous $2,500 donation from the Lower Alabama Fleet Feet Running Club. 

Long-time ALMMSN volunteer Ron Smith, a member of the running club, facilitated the donation to help support ALMMSN’s continued mission to increase capacity for marine mammal stranding response, research, and outreach along the Alabama Gulf coast.  ALMMSN is truly a network whose work would not be possible without the support of our local communities. 

ALMMSN graciously thanks the club’s members and look forward to continued partnerships in the future.
