Tickets are on sale for the Forks and Corks Gala at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Estuarium to be held on Friday, October 26. The event kicks off the ArtSeaLab Festival weekend organized by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Art Does It.
The mission of the weekend is to enhance the public's understanding of the ecological challenges facing the northern Gulf of Mexico and its coastline through the dialogs of art, science, and folk life.
Student teams of the Mobile County Public School's Culinary Arts and Hospitality programs will take part in a seafood challenge during the Forks and Corks Gala. The challenge will showcase the culinary skills of Mobile County Public School students from Davidson, Vigor, Baker, Alma Bryant, Murphy, Williamson, Theodore, and Blount High Schools.
The Forks and Corks Gala will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Estuarium. Purchase tickets by clicking here.
